This place is amazing. The staff are extremely nice you can tell the animals are well cared for and loved. We got our big boy this morning and immediately fell in love with him. Would highly recommend these amazing people!
Beautiful farm and endearing breeders! We adopted our Maya and Amara (formerly Taffy and Tracy) in late August 2022 and I can’t say enough good about our girls. From the start they have been such joy! Displaying perfect breed temperament and excellent health. The farm was clean, well organized, and we were treated with such friendly hospitality and patience. Currently our girls are working towards achieving their AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. Maya is my constant companion, gentle and compassionate, she adores babies and toddlers and anyone who calls her “cute”. Amara is our silly clown and my teenage son’s sidekick, truly the snuggliest little show off I’ve ever seen. Much thanks to Golden Star for breeding such well rounded delightful pups!!!
We met a couple camping that referred us to Golden Star. After the loss of our 14-year-old golden, we decided to get an Irish Golden. His name was Weston and we renamed him Bodhi. He is an angel and the sweetest baby! He is exactly what our family needed. I wish I could have 12 more just like him LOL!

Beautiful sanctuary for the dogs, lots of land and the people are just amazing. Getting our Tucker boy has been a dream. 💙 He is sweet yet feisty, with such a big personality. The best addition to our family!
It’s only been a week since we brought our Tsuki home from Golden Star and she has already brought so much happiness to our lives. She is a 13 week old goldendoodle who was trained by Samantha. I cannot say enough good things about her, not only did she train our girl making the transition to our home seamless, she has been been available to us for any questions that arise. Her passion and talent for what she does is incredible. Our puppy came home about 80% trained. Samantha gave us all the tips and tricks to successfully complete her training. The quality of our puppy is apparent in her coat, size, and demeanor, she was worth every penny and MUCH more. We couldn’t recommend Samantha and the Golden Star Team enough. We are forever grateful.
We started our year bringing home this ball of light from Golden Star. Could not be more pleased with every step taken to get my baby boy. From initial contact to follow-up questions, after he was home, Michelle always answered text or calls to be helpful. Griffin came home and easily adapted to human family members and other pets, it was apparent he had been socialized and loved since birth. I've wanted a golden retriever forever, waiting until the right time. Griffin is everything and more than I hoped for. He's 7 months old now and still growing. He is a healthy strong boy with exuberant energy and happiness he gives to our family every day! I highly recommended Golden Star and will continue to do so.

The best commitment I've ever made was a Golden Star puppy. Our sweet Hudson (aka Monte) has grown into the sweetest 90-pound golden we have ever had. He is the pet of the entire neighborhood. I absolutely recommend this family of breeders.

Golden Star Family Puppies is operated by a very nice family and EVERYTHING that I saw was totally immaculately maintained. When I arrived for my puppy, all the litter was obviously recently bathed and playing together. They all were very clearly happy, healthy, and well socialized! I could not possibly be happier with my Parker! He is healthy, well adjusted, and AMAZING!!!

We got our Marleigh Jane Francesca (was once Joy) from Golden Star February 2022. She is literally the best dog we’ve ever had, such a great temperament. She’s my fluffy best friend/shadow If we ever get another, it’ll definitely be from Golden Star!

We got Murphey at 8 weeks old from Golden Star and he is the sweetest, biggest, kindest long haired-goofy Doodle and so gentle! Absolutely recommend Golden Star. Murphey has had zero problems and is a now healthy 2 year old man! We love him dearly!

Ok!Our two Irish Goldens are truly some of the most well-behaved puppies we have ever seen. They are so easy to teach and love us as their owners already. They are 4 months old and already crate trained, house trained, and don't jump up for their food. The transition from breeder to home was very smooth and would highly recommend this breed of dog and golden star puppies!
I bought my sweet Stormie (Standard Aussiedoodle) from Goldenstar Family Puppies. I had the best experience with them. Nowadays, it’s hard to know places you can trust. This is definitely a place you can trust buying your new fur baby from! They came up in a great home and were loved the second they came into the world. I HIGHLY recommend the training as well. Samantha, the trainer, did an amazing job! Stormie went through 4 weeks of training and it is AMAZING being able to take her outside to use the bathroom and she knows what to do. And she knows basic commands and even when she does the normal puppy biting/chewing, she knows what “no” means and listens immediately. Michelle was very responsive and extremely helpful! I had been talking with her for a few months before the right litter came along and she was very patient and helpful through the whole process! I couldn’t be happier with this place! Between my husband and myself we have owned so many dogs. This process was the easiest yet. Everyone is super responsive and really took their time to answer all my questions. There was absolutely 0 pressure to purchase a puppy. We went with 4 weeks of training, and this was the best choice we could have made! Every week we received pictures, a video and call/texts of our puppy, and it really helped our kids to bond with him even before he arrived. Most importantly it was so nice to have the puppy arrive crate trained and after the first 3 days of him getting acclimated to us, he now sleeps until 7:30. He is super socialized with humans and other dogs (we have a beagle). We also opted for ground transportation, which was super easy and convenient. I cannot say enough good things about our new puppy and the whole Golden Start Family Puppies family. Everyone is super kind, patient, and I feel they really care about the puppies.

Good morning,
We took Bailey for her last set of shots yesterday. The Dr. said she is a very healthy puppy,weighing 40 lbs. already. They expect her to be between 85 and 90 lbs. I wonder how big she will end up. She is the easiest puppy I have had. She brings us many days of fun and unconditional love. We are so happy we made this decision. Please thank Owen again for us!!.

I just wanted to send you an update on Kate from Sandy x Turbo. She just turned 2 in December and we are incredibly happy with her! She has been a wonderful, well-rounded dog with a perfect temperament and no health issues whatsoever.
I am currently doing scent work and agility with her, and hope to compete with AKC in the near future! She loves to learn!
We took her on her first “big girl” camping and hiking trip to Asheville, NC over the weekend and she did amazing. Here are a few photos of her

Hi Michelle! I got my puppy back in June from the April 26th litter, and just wanted you to say thank you again. We named him Gibbs (from NCIS) and he has brought us so much joy. These were the day he turned 5 months. Just wanted to reach out and let you guys know we're so thankful! He loves going to the gym with us, hence the gym picks. But he is Super social & loves kids. He is just so so so good. I cannot say enough. Y'all truly blessed us!

Thank you so much for letting us come to your farm and pick out a beautiful puppy. We name him Chance because it was by chance that we found your website. He is Perfect, we love him and our experience coming to the farm. There is nothing more welcoming than a porch full of puppies. The hardest part was just picking one. Chance has made friends with our cat and they play with each other and take naps together. Chance is part of our family. Thank you so much.

This is Rusty's new mommy Mariana. I just wanted to reach out and thank you! The experience was heaven sent. From the minute we met Owenand his beautiful familythe puppy came to greet us it's pure joy. It was very important for me to get our pup from birth. Knowing the wonderful family he came from and how much love he has already received by this great family only makes me want to give him more of an amazing life. Maxwell Oliver (his new name) is so loved already. Forever greatful.

The dogs have loved going to all the soccer games with us and have become team mascots. Gingers favorite fetch toy has become a small soccer ball.
