Obituaries are like near-death experiences for cowards. After reading a lot of obituaries, it just opened up my mind. Before that, I thought of I’m going to wait for things to happen but now, I’m going to make them happen and if people think I’m an idiot, I don’t care.
An artist named Maria Kalman wrote, “The sum of every obituary is how heroic people are, and how noble.”.
Reading about people who are dead now and understanding what exactly they did with their lives makes me want to get up and do something. They all started as amateurs but with time and consistency in work, they grew and achieved what they wanted to achieve.
